In everyday life, we all experience three states of consciousness: waking, dreaming and deep sleep.
There also is a fourth, higher state, which we may experience in nature, artistic pursuits, love relationships or other situations where we feel in touch with our highest source of awareness and joy.
Through meditation we can nurture our individual consciousness to include this higher state of awareness in more and more of life’s circumstances and conditions.
Paul practices and teaches Karuna meditation, a style he developed based upon experiences with teachers in traditions including TM, Zen sitting, Sufi self-remembering, Mindfulness and techniques described in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali.
